How the crew thing works

Made for the person who organizes the trip. (You know who you are.)

1

Pick destination & headcount

Choose the pack that covers your trip, set how many travelers, and pay once. Solo works too โ€” that's just a crew of one.

2

Share your crew link

We email you a private link. Drop it in the group chat โ€” each person opens it and enters their own email.

3

Everyone scans their own QR

Each traveler gets their own eSIM by email. Install at home on WiFi, switch on when you land, and maps + messages just work.

Crew Packs

Every traveler gets their own data โ€” nothing to share, split, or huddle around. 30-day validity covers the whole trip. Prices in US dollars.

Questions crews actually ask

Does it really work in China โ€” Google, WhatsApp, Instagram?

Yes. Our China coverage routes data through international carrier partners, so the usual blocks on Google, WhatsApp and Instagram don't apply โ€” no VPN needed. It's the single best reason not to buy a local SIM at the airport.

How does the group link work?

After checkout you get a private link with one eSIM slot per traveler you paid for. Each person opens it, enters their own email, and receives their own QR code. Claimed yours already? Re-enter the same email and it reopens.

Will everyone's phone support it?

Any iPhone XS or newer and most Android phones from the last 5 years support eSIM. Phones must be carrier-unlocked. If someone's phone turns out not to support it, we refund that eSIM in full.

Can I still call and text? Is this voice too?

The eSIM itself is data-only โ€” and that's a feature, not a gap. Your real number stays live on your main SIM the whole trip: incoming calls and texts still reach you, and outgoing calls work over WhatsApp, FaceTime or iMessage using the eSIM's data. A "voice" travel SIM would give you a random foreign number nobody you know has. If your iPhone asks which type of plan this is, pick Data Only.

Do we keep our phone numbers?

Yes. The eSIM is a second line for data only. Everyone's number stays active for calls and texts (leave your main line's data roaming off so it can't bill you).

When should we install them?

At home, on WiFi, before the trip. Installing doesn't start the clock โ€” validity begins when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination.

What if someone can't connect?

If anyone in your crew can't get online in a covered country, we refund that eSIM 100%. No forms โ€” just reply to the order email.
